Illinois Economic Consulting (IEC) aims to enable students to provide our clients with constructive solutions that can be readily implemented.  

 

Objectives:

• Give students a platform to explore their interests, strengths, weaknesses, and possibilities in the field of consulting.

• Prepare students for a career in consulting by assisting them in developing the required skill set through experiential learning.

• Provide our clients with impeccable services by mapping applicable solutions to their needs and resources.  

• Use Economics principles to deliver enhanced strategy solutions to our clients

• Provide alumni an opportunity to contribute to the Economics department and the University by getting involved in development of student members.

• Connect students and consulting firms to foster communication so both parties can have a deeper understanding of each other for the purpose of recruitment and networking.
